Job DescriptionAn employer is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join their team based in Rocky Hill, CT. This position will be on-site at the Public Health Lab and is open due to ongoing technical support needs as the agency implements two new Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The Help Desk Technical will support project efforts onsite and provide technical support and troubleshooting for both hardware and software and will assist in coordinating across multiple vendors and departments. The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for equipment set up including desktops, monitoring, and peripherals for Lab personnel including rolling out software and performing software updates and installs. They will receive daily tickets from users and provide in-person and remote support through systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. They will test, install, and set up application programs, train end users on IT policies and procedures, imaging, and provide overall troubleshooting including network support and software issues.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
