Responsible for supporting automotive surface treatment systems and Henkel products as a subject matter expert.

Travel to customer sites to support specific projects, troubleshoot, and perform goodwill visits. 30% - 50% travel.

Perform comprehensive training for both internal and customer personnel at both Henkel and customer sites.

Maintain training material to be relevant, professional, and informative.

Technical reporting and issue diagnosis of automotive pretreatment of Henkel applications at the customer site.

Technical reporting must be concise, technical, and professional to meet the customers’ expectations. o Issue diagnosis of all relevant Henkel technologies requires a thorough understanding of the scientific method and relevant material properties.

Quality monitoring of all relevant process steps (BIW vehicles, ED sand, Sealer deck)

Maintain high standards and professional image of the company. o Attend all customer meetings in person when on site to be visible and present.

If not able to attend in person attend via mobile device and participate in the meeting.

All customer safety and quality protocols must always be followed.

Cover all Henkel teammates duties when they are on vacation.

Support customer accounts continuous-improvement projects that result in process efficiencies and recognized value. Provide detailed support for on site reps to complete the projected savings.

Review and understand complex customer requests and projects. Give sound technical design and technology advise to customers, Henkel field sales, and other Henkel personnel.

When not traveling support our surface treatment laboratory on current project load.

Communicate effectively with internal/external plant personnel at all levels. o Lead customer monthly OEM update calls.

Lead internal monthly analytical calls.

Develop effective account management, service & sales support strategies/activities to cultivate new business opportunities and to provide an outstanding customer service and support commitment.

Support the Henkel commercial team with sales opportunities through relationship and solution selling.

Lead and support all line audits both existing and new opportunities.

Utilize the standardized format for all line audits.

Lead and support all trials and launces at your assigned accounts.

Must have great presentation skills

YOUR SKILLS

Education - BS/BA in engineering or business, with some chemistry background preferred.

Experience — Manufacturing experience with significant experience in a sales/service function, preferably at a customer site location.

Must have a strong work ethic and excellent customer relationship skills.

Strong communication skills both internally and externally.

Must have strong problem resolution and technical leadership skills.

Strong PC capability Physical Requirements: Ability to travel and meet with customers around the US. Travel is domestic.

Working Conditions: Manufacturing plant(s) and office locations.

The salary for this role is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
