As an Auto Body Technician, you will be essential in restoring vehicles back to their original condition through expert auto body repair. We strive to deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced automotive environment. We are looking for a skilled self motivated person to perform quality repairs . I-Car and or ASE certifications are a plus .
We are a family owned repair facility that has been servicing the Brookfield/Danbury/New Fairfield areas and communities by providing safe quality automotive repairs for nearly 30 years.
Job duties include:
Removing and replacing damaged body panels (doors, hoods, fenders, quarters etc.), bumpers, trim, and other components.
Straightening damaged unibody, straightening panels, and repairing or replacing metal sections.
Utilizing welding\spot welding equipment to join or repair metal parts
Preparing surfaces for painting.
Communicating with coworkers to ensure a smooth work flow.
Communication with estimators so they can add additional photos to customer files for unforeseen additional damages and to order unforeseen additional part in a timely manor.
Check parts to make sure they match repairs being done.
Inspecting work to ensure it meets safety and quality standards, and returning vehicles to factory specifications.
Skills needed:
- Replace door skin, rear body panel, quarter panel, etc.
- Dent repair and dent pulling
- Frame pulling and replacement as needed
- Prime vehicles for body repairs
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Must bring own tools
Experience:
Auto body repair: 3 years (Required)
I-Car Certification, Welding Certificate, Aluminum Certificate will place you on top!
