Description:Quality Assurance Specialist leads implementation & compliance with quality regulations for products and employees. This role oversees and ensures that the quality systems as detailed in the GMP system are in order to develop plans to motivate, and encourage employees while striving to improve processes and product quality. The QA Specialist's main function is to maintain proper procedures and records in regards to quality standards set by our documentation. Also, this position will strive to ensure that our QA system is properly designed to ensure that our production is in control and minimizing defects.Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Prior QA experience; Experience in the food industry.

Ability to lead, direct, manage and develop others.

Knowledge of relevant SOP’s, cGMP and regulatory guidelines.

Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Ability to work in a team and as an individual.

Knowledge of FDA regulatory activities.

Preparation and control of product Information.

Familiar with root cause analysis or problem solving tools.

Proven experience in QA environment.

Ability to lead, direct, manages and develops others.

Possess excellent computer skills: Excel / Word / Power-Point
