Wide World of Indoor Sports – Montville is seeking a highly motivated individual for the full-time position of Manager.
- Assist with program operations to include set up, break down and event management
- Assist with coordination among other departments to ensure that program logistics are properly organized including set up, signage, etc.
- Coordinate, plan and oversee sporting events, tournaments and other special events
- Facility requests made by front office staff, vendors, officials and others as needed
- Develop timelines, itineraries and checklists prior to programs and events
- Observe facility programs ensuring safety protocols, security procedures and equipment usage are properly carried out
- Update and maintain schedules for complex and field usage
- Develop and maintain all proper documentation and files for programs and events
- Maintain collections of all program and league fees as outlined in company policy
- Create league format guidelines

- Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggest information about other products and services
- Maintain customer records on an individual and team basis
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; follow up to ensure resolution
- Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
- Prepare product and service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
- Maintain records of game stats
Required Skills

- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Lift/carry over 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work extended hours, weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of Flag Football, Softball, Lacrosse and Soccer a plus
