Lifehouse Community Care, LLC has positions open for Companions and Independent

Living Skills Trainers (ILST) under the Acquired Brain Injury waiver.

Do you have compassion and enjoy caring for others? Lifehouse Community Care, helps to

provide people with acquired brain injuries the guidance they need to reach their personal,

educational and therapeutic goals, activities of daily living, and independence.

Companion: Requires a high school diploma. The ability to implement behavioral programs,

help with providing socialization, transportation, chores and supervision of a person with

traumatic brain injury.

Independent Living Skills Trainer: Requires a high school diploma. If you already possess an

ILST certification or have the required qualifications, which are 2 years experience working with

people who have an acquired brain injury, an aneurism, or a stroke; or a bachelor’s degree in

human service related field of study and 1 year experience. You need to have the ability to

implement and assess therapeutic programs, and teach a person with an acquired brain injury

to live their most independent life possible.
