OYSTER HARBORS MARINE of Essex, CT is looking for a passionate closer to join our award-winning sales team. You will be representing premium boat and yacht brands from Everglades center consoles up to Viking and Princess yachts.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with new and brokerage boat sales. However, if you have a proven track record in sales of any kind, we are ready to have a conversation. We are looking to expand our business in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. If you live in those areas, there may be an opportunity to work remotely. You will report to the office manager in Essex, CT, and be responsible for all aspects of boat purchases, sales and trades of boats and be expected to handle the administrative responsibilities that go along with those processes. You may be asked to provide photographs, prepare documents, negotiate pricing, communicate with the client and dealer, generate leads, and manage sales listings.
Your duties also involve understanding the details of various boats and yachts so you can answer customer questions and provide assistance throughout and after the boat sale. Pay is commission-based and includes a generous benefits package.
