We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facility management, which include preventative maintenance, contractor negotiation and coordination, maintenance oversight, inspections coordinator, invoices and billing.
Duties
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules using Rent Manager Express to track work orders and status.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Oversee program inspections and ensure quality standards are met with HUD guidelines.
Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and installations while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment performance metrics.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with operational needs.
Experience
Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position within a property management environment.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing and contractor work.
Familiarity with basic computer software's
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
Experience in facilities management, project management, and working with schematics is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate.
