Overview:
Busy and growing aviation equipment repair company is searching for an individual to fill a shipping and receiving position. 2 or more years experience in performing tasks such as receiving and verifying part numbers, serial numbers and quantities for customer owned units. Managing incoming inventory and raw materials, preparing shipments for UPS and Fed-X and dispatching products for van deliveries would be daily tasks. Stringent inspection standards require the candidate to be detail oriented and organized. Experience with courier on-line database and preparing packages for export would be helpful. This is a full-time, entry level position with the opportunity to advance into other areas of work within the company.
Qualifications:
- MUST be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing. (Testing for CBD / marijuana is included).
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Experience with the use of basic hand tools as related to shipping and receiving.
- Ability to perform shipping department housekeeping tasks and maintain sufficient packaging products.
- Attention to detail in the performance of their duties.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
