Personal Care and Professional Assistant Position Available
We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant (or two) to join our family in a unique and rewarding role! Our current PCA is leaving for nursing school, and while we’re excited for her, we now need someone new to help us.
This position involves supporting two working professionals, each with their own distinct and meaningful careers. The role would be split into three shifts with one person and two with the other. Both individuals require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) and support in their professional responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Employer 1. works at a high school, where they organize and facilitate an annual career fair and assist faculty and students with capstone projects. You will provide support in the office, remotely, and during school activities.
Employer 2. runs a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving accessibility for people with mobility impairments. This role involves administrative support and collaboration on advocacy initiatives.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Experience in assisting with ADLs and IADLs.
Ability to provide discreet support while allowing the employers to lead in their respective roles.
Computer and phone proficiency, including Knowledge of Mac systems and Google Workspace.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfort with basic administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling, emails, document management).

The location is North Branford and pay is $20.50 per hour through a payroll company. The hours are roughly M-F, 9:30a-4p
