Direct Support Professional:
As a Direct Support Professional, the primary job responsibility is, “Helping persons with disabilities find happiness in their own homes, in their personal relationships and as contributing members of their community.” Work includes assisting each person to live in a home of their own, develop and support reciprocal relationships and becoming a part of and contribute to their community. This position helps achieve the mission of the agency by providing day to day support, teaching, coaching and supervision. The Direct Support Professional is expected to think independently; to ensure people are supported in a manner that conforms to all applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations and standards.
Various Shifts available 1st, 2nd, 3rd 12 hour shifts in Naugatuck
Full Time 36 hours
Starting Rate is $18.10 per hour
Program Manager:
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Supervise the Assistant Manager and the Direct Support Professionals
Maintain compliance with CT DDS Licensure Standards
Schedule, guide and evaluate staff and provide progressive corrective actions as required
Ensure all staff training and development programs are maintained
Oversee maintenance of a person’s home, furnishings, equipment and vehicle
Oversee the proper accounting of CSI resources and funds of the persons supported
Attend formal Leadership Trainings as requested by the Executive Director or their designee
Maintain optimal communication and cooperation with the team, family, guardians and other stakeholders
Share on-call responsibilities with the Assistant Manager.
Proficiency in MS Office software and web based application skills
Perform other duties as described in the CSI Job Description
EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
The minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED (an Associate’s degree in a related field of study is preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum age of 20 years; Valid CT Driver’s License; Satisfactory criminal, driving and employment history per the CSI Personal Policy.
Ability to safely and successfully perform to all physical requirements as stated in the CSI Job Description
