This Role
We are seeking a part time lead to full time Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper to assist the recording of day-to-day financial transactions for multiple businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with processing weekly payrolls, initiate payments of payroll deductions
- Assist with other accounting/finance operations and administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, and as a team player
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks, MS Excel
- Experience in the industry is welcomed but not required
