You'll get to:

  • Expectto create working models of new product concepts using 3D CAD software (Creo 4.0 or similar) and subsequently build physical prototypes to support product development
  • Able to create 2D drawings, stack up analysis and possess firm understanding of GD&T
  • Expected to create and maintain drawings in product lifecycle (Windchill)
  • Support DFMEA sessions and design reviews
  • Develop test specifications and test plansto qualify new product
  • Work with cross functional product team to deliver project roadmap,andproductivity goals
  • Must be able to integrate the needs of end users,manufacturing,and product service to provide optimum designs that exceed competitive products
  • Constant communication/collaborationwith design team in Asia as well as manufacturing sites to drive new product development and other projects

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineeringor related field
  • 6years ofrelated experience in product designor manufacturing
  • 5+ years experiencing of design using 3-D CAD software (CREO 4.0 preferred)
  • 5+ years of producing 2D drawings
  • Working knowledge ofTolerancing,andGD&T
