Your Responsibilities

The Assistant Property Manager will provide support to a portfolio of properties with over 500 units. This role will be based at Columbus Commons in New Britain, CT but with occasional support to all other CT properties. The work hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. This role will focus on the delivery of maintenance services and coordination of the Yardi work order system for the Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for answering the maintenance request line, inputting all maintenance requests in the Yardi computer system for dispatch, and recording all pending and completed work orders on a daily basis. This role will also be responsible for scheduling property/unit inspections and preparing maintenance related reports.

Your Qualifications

Previous experience in residential and/or commercial property management with basic understanding of maintenance systems is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced office, with a capacity to meet established deadlines and multitask. Excellent customer service, organizational, written and oral communication skills are required. Must possess strong MS Office skills. Yardi or an equivalent property management software experience is required. Must be able to travel between multiple sites. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required. Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
