A part-time Billing Specialist / Administrative Assistant is desired for a growing Real Estate/Property Management Company located in West Hartford, CT. Small, quiet office setting in convenient location on Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. Candidate must be available to work 8-12 hours per week in the office. Flexible hours, anytime between 9:00am and 5:00pm M-F. Hours could increase, if desired by candidate. Not a remote position.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and computer savvy.
- Motivation to be punctual, hardworking and dependable.
- Very detail-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Entering bills into property management software
Online bill pay
Reconciling accounts
Processing mail
Filing and general office work.
Section 8 renewals
Additional administrative duties, when needed
Requirements/Experience:
Accounting/Bookkeeping
Must have 1-3 years office experience.
Property Management and Real Estate bookkeeping experience a plus.
Real Estate License preferred.
