Harrington’s Organic Land Care has a job available for a Plant Health Care Specialist and Technician with a CT Pesticide Commercial Supervisory License. 3A Ornamental and Turf preferred and/or CT arborist license. Organic lawn, tree and shrub care experience is a plus, however you will be using and learning more about regenerative plant care practices. This Technician will have excellent experience in all aspects of land care. Must be energetic, detail orientated, a team player and enjoy working independently. Ensure efficient and high-quality execution of turf and tree health care.

$1,200 Signing Bonus with a minimum of 2-year previous experience in the application of organic and nonorganic pesticides and fertilizer for turf & tree and shrub care.
Your Requirements:
Required - Valid, Unexpired CT Pesticide Commercial Supervisory License. 3A Ornamental and Turf.
Required - Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
2 + year of plant health care experience.
Ability to diagnose insects and disease in turf, ornamental trees and shrubs.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and work outdoors in various climate elements.
Enjoy working independently, and within a team environment, multi-task and prioritize.
Responsibilities:
Able to mix organic and none organic chemicals to correct ratios.
Maintain and clean your equipment and truck and be organized.
Stay up on the current inventory of material and be able to project when additional material will be needed.
Report to office on the overall appearance of customer's property.
Compensation
Hourly Rates are experienced based:
$45.00-$50.00 (rate is based on having CT Pesticide Commercial Supervisory License. 3A Ornamental and Turf)
