As an analyst, you will support a team of experienced researchers and designers working with product managers, business architects and business and technology leaders . You will gain experience working with your team to tell powerful stories that help build empathy and inspire the next iteration of highly engaging experiences at Travelers. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Advocate user-centered approaches; help partners understand when and why empathy matters.
- Learn and implement a range of research methods - observing, note-taking and supporting methods like usability testing, ethnographic interviews, prototyping, contextual inquiry, intercepts, surveys and A/B tests and metrics to meet project needs.
- Support design discovery and user research activities that are critical to product success.
- Help implement and provides feedback in UX best practices and objectives.
- Assist in creating artifacts that include insight repositories, personas, journey maps, user workflows, information architecture, presentations and data workbooks within project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct secondary and competitive research and analysis
- Conduct heuristic evaluations on existing experiences
- Analyze and report research findings to stakeholders and translate these findings into design solutions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or User Experience research courses/training preferred.
- Prior User Experience research/HCI/Human Factors work or internship experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity or basic understanding of web-based technologies.
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative user research methods
- In-depth understanding of user interfaces usability and design principles
