Connecticut, Hartford, 06103 Hartford USA

Vacancy caducado!

Description: 1) Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes what's being done? We are in the process of rewriting the 'eCR' suite of Microstrategy reports into a new 'CER' variation that combines data from multiple sources, changes some of the formatting and is all Azure cloud-based. These reports have a large consumer base including both internal and external interactive usage. 2) What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you're looking for. Healthcare experience would be a plus but not required. Microstrategy expertise of at least 4 years with some leadership/independence is a must and the preferred candidate will also have experience with customizing Microstrategy using both the Software Developer Kit (SDK) and Java coding (not Java script but Core Java using spring boot framework). 3) Of the required skills listed, which would you consider the top 3? Please list your expectations regarding years of experience for each requirement. Microstrategy (4 years), Java (2 years) and any other Microstrategy customization or modular experience using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or Platform Analytics (2 years). 4) What experience will set candidates apart from one another? Having managed healthcare experience or working in an environment similar to ours. Anyone with past Client/Client experience is a huge plus! 5) Are you open to candidates that would need to be 100% remote for the duration of the engagement?

Yes, that is the preference as long as they are in the US (central and eastern time zones preferred to overlap with India). 6) Are you open to candidates that cannot convert to FTE without sponsorship? No 7) What does the team structure look like how many members and what is the break-down of the team's skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? Microstrategy team works as part of a larger scrum team of 12-15 people. Microstrategy component is 2 admins, 3 US developers, 5 India developers 8) What does the interview process look like? a. How many rounds? 2 rounds; first with me and possibly our scrum master and second round going deeper on the tech skills with 2-3 others from the team b. Video vs. phone? Video preferred (zoom or teams) c. How technical will the interviews be? Second round deeper technical d. When do you anticipate starting the interview process? Whenever a qualified candidate is found
