Market Area Safety Manager

Job DescriptionA waste management company in Danbury, CT is looking to add a Market Area Safety Manager to their team. This individual will oversee the safety initiatives heavily focused on hauling operations at their Danbury, CT location. You will be responsible for driving positive change, making recommendations for safety improvements, working with upper management and individual contributes to mitigate incidents and ensure the organization remains in compliance with OSHA, DOT, BIC, DSNY, NYDEC and NJDEP laws.We are looking for a director that prides themselves on building relationships with the field and management, isn't afraid to role up their sleeves and has a proven track record of improving safety across multiple orgs.This position requires being onsite five days a week at the Danbury, CT location.
