Contract Senior Representative - Remote

Cigna is currently seeking a Contract Senior Representative. The Rep administers the installation of assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure and billing set up, eligibility collection, data base loading, ID cards, preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education materials. Provides support to assigned accounts by responding to inquiries or resolving issues of concern. Completes day-to-day Account Installation tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Resolves routine issues escalated from more junior team members.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze, research and interpret written and verbal information to prepare administrative and legally defensible insurance documents and related materials which accurately reflect Policyholder requests, conform to company underwriting guidelines, preserve language uniformity (or stylistic consistency) and comply with applicable state and federal law.

Accountable for the production of high quality, accurate and compliant insurance documents and related materials.

Identify and communicate issues that surface pre- and post-proof development. Solve problems or coordinate their resolution with appropriate business partners.

Research, interpret and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding highly technical product and case-specific issues.

Ability to interpret source documents at all levels of complexity. Assist in training initiatives regarding products, contract language, and insurance documents and drafting processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:HS Diploma or GEDBA degree or 5+years of relevant work experience in Contracts, Compliance or Marketing/Communications preferred.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Capable of effectively and independently prioritizing multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines and department metrics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are clear, concise, and demonstrate a commitment to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Exceptional attention to detail with ability to work independently, multi-task, manage own work, and collaborate with internal business partners as required.

Strong PC skills and technical aptitude. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of supplemental health products

Prior experience working with producers and clients.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 22 - 34 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.We want you to be healthy, balanced, and feel secure.
