Maralex Resources, an independent oil and gas operator located in the Durango, Colorado area, is seeking a contract land professional for a part-time position to manage the land and property functions. Duties include creating and maintaining JIB and revenue decks; maintaining lease and contract obligations control calendars; maintaining owner data, including division orders, title transfers and curative work. Working knowledge of land contracts, including operating agreements, farm-out agreements, pooling and communitization agreements, and rights of way is imperative. Supporting the regulatory and permitting functions and landowner relations are also primary responsibilities. Personal criteria includes being a self-starter, paying attention to detail, and requiring little supervision. It is important that the candidate be a team player-capable of working effectively in a small-office environment. Experience working with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and knowledge of the accounting/land database, WolfePak/Pak Energy, is a plus.
