You will lead projects from the ground up, applying your technical skills and passion for landscaping to create environments that delight our clients and exceed their expectations.

The Role You’ll Play:

As the Senior Landscaping Project Lead, you will be deeply involved in the hands-on execution of every landscaping project. Leading from the front, you will directly manage the installation of landscapes, from the initial groundwork to the final touches. This role demands not only your leadership but also your active participation in crafting beautiful outdoor spaces, employing your technical skills and fostering a team environment where quality meets precision.

Core Responsibilities:

Actively participate in and oversee all stages of landscape installation projects.

Employ your technical expertise in landscaping to manage and lead installation crews directly on-site.

Schedule, coordinate, and personally supervise project execution to ensure timely completion.

Maintain rigorous standards of quality control, personally inspecting work to ensure it meets Fresh Start’s standards.

Help refine and implement key processes and best practices in landscape project execution.

Support labor recruitment efforts and personally mentor new team members, integrating them effectively into project teams.

Enforce safety protocols directly on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Provide project updates and manage labor hours within Fresh Start’s chosen service delivery application.

Our Core Values:

Delight Customers: You will personally ensure that each project exceeds customer expectations with your attention to detail and creative solutions, striving to create memorable experiences.

Keep Growing: Embrace challenges and continually seek personal and professional development, both for yourself and your team.

Show Gratitude & Support: Express genuine appreciation and extend empathy towards our customers, team, and community, actively recognizing their contributions.

Take Accountability: Consistently honor your commitments and take immediate action to address any issues, maintaining our reputation for reliability and quality.

What We Require:

Extensive Technical Knowledge and Hands-on Experience: You are expected to have a deep understanding and practical skills across a broad spectrum of landscaping tasks, including:

- Lawn Care: Mastery in aeration, dethatching, and comprehensive yard maintenance (fertilization, weed control, mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup).

- Irrigation Systems: Proficient in the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, with a knack for seasonal adjustments and system troubleshooting.

- Plant and Soil Management: Skilled in the selection, planting, and maintenance of various plant species, with a solid grasp of soil health and preparation techniques.

- Hardscaping: Experienced in the design and installation of pathways, patios, retaining walls, water features, and other hardscape elements.

Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead teams directly on-site, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.

Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Spanish and English, able to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse team.

Valid Driver’s License and Truck Ownership: Must have a valid driver’s license and own a truck. Compensation for vehicle use and maintenance will be provided.

Insurance Requirements: Must be willing or able to obtain general liability insurance as part of the contractual agreement.

What You’ll Get:

Highly competitive hourly pay, with additional compensation for vehicle use and maintenance.

A significant role that allows you to directly influence the quality and success of our projects.

The opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where passion, dedication, and hands-on work are rewarded.
