About the Job
We are hiring an assembly technician. This is full-time position, working 4 -10
hour shifts M-Th 6:30am-5pm. It requires very high attention to detail, the ability to understand
machinery, how it operates, and some knowledge of electrical wiring would be beneficial.
This is not a desk job or production line job. We are assembling large machinery and there
is a significant amount of ladder work and heavy lifting being done. Our ideal candidate is someone who is creative, has a good attitude, easy to work with, skilled & motivated!
Responsibilities
Using power tools such as drills, grinders, and hand tools
Working knowledge of low voltage DC electronics, & PLC logic would be beneficial
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on your feet all-day
Ability to identify problems and communicate solutions
Ability to meet production deadlines
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Passion for the machining and fabrication industry
Has a good work ethic and is very timely
Has some previous experience in the field
Positive professional attitude
Team player with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Highly mechanically inclined
Carpentry, fabrication, and/or machining skills a plus
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Work Environment:
Usual warehouse conditions will exist such as dust, lighting, and temperature.
Work outside in varying weather and conditions
