Pull material orders daily and set priorities based on production dates.
Deliver incoming components to the correct bin location.
Prepare finished assemblies for shipping which includes inspection, packaging, and label making.
Help coordinate shipping efforts by creating packaging slips and performing shipping transactions.
Perform various assembly operations to assemble small and medium-sized precision units or sub-assemblies involving many parts for kitting.
Check on material inventory and notify supervisor of changes.
Update inventory counts in ERP when adding or removing products.
Perform cycle counting.
Track daily output and notify supervisor of changes.
Properly fill out production documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience with cycle counting and inventory control a plus.
Material handling experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse environment preferred.
Beginner to mid-level computer and math skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to maintain physical exertion by standing, bending, lifting, walking, pushing and pulling for eight (8) hours daily and forty (40) hours weekly.
