Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist within the service industry, based in THORNTON, Colorado, 80241-3535, United States. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the full-cycle accounts payable duties, reconciling invoices, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Key responsibilities: Oversee high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable duties including matching and securing proper approvals for non-PO invoices. Reconcile invoices to purchase orders through an automated AP workflow system. Ensure timely payments to vendors and resolve any issues through collaborative processes with internal and external stakeholders. Promptly and accurately respond to internal and external inquiries. Process employee expense reports and reconcile vendor statements. Assess and apply Sales and Use Tax rates when applicable. Research and resolve vendor and operation’s inquiries and disputes. Assist with internal and external audits and maintain up-to-date process documentation. Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards. Regular and predictable attendance is expected for this role.
