Innovative Family Dental is a family practice located in Dillon, CO providing general dentistry services for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of dental diseases and conditions. Under new ownership, Dr. Stephanie Barnett is looking for a full-time, team-oriented individual that wants to learn and grow. This individual is required to have great people skills and has a passion for the patient’s care.
Dental Assistant Duties:
Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials.
Prepares treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
Readies patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, confirming treatment, and draping patient.
Assembles instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
Provides diagnostic information by taking X-rays, as well as digital and PVS impressions.
Ability to fabricate temporary restorations and to clean and polish removable appliances.
Educates patients by giving postoperative instructions.
Documents dental care services by charting in patient records.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Conserves dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Work days: Tuesday – Thursday and alternating Mondays and Fridays. Every other weekend is a 4 day weekend.
1+ year experience preferred.
