Celebrity Chef Nobu Matsuhisas Vail locations is now hiring an experienced Pastry Chef to help lead its culinary team.
Located in the heart of the Vail village, Matsuhisa Vail has worked to become a destination for guests visiting from all over the world.
Qualified candidates will need to have a strong culinary background with preferred minimum of 2 years pastry/culinary experience.
Seeking a full time P.M. pastry chef
Tasks include but not limited to:
-Oversight of daily operations and to provide professional leadership and direction to the kitchen.
-Changing pastry desserts and specials on a regular basis.
-Ensures that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet restaurant specifications and commitment to quality.
-Demonstrating a variety of pastry techniques and skills with Japanese influences.
-Work well with the sushi and front of house teams.
-Maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.
-Ability to adapt and multitask in a high paced, high energy environment.
-Maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to work primarily afternoons and evenings.
