We are a small, creative farm-to-table Mexican restaurant with a multi-cultural comfort flair in search of an experienced line/prep cook to join our amazing team and help us reach the next level of our popular business! We need a skilled individual who will excel at running a fast-paced line, as well as help with food preparations and maintain inventory. Located in the heart of the North Fork Valley of Colorado, we feature farm-to-table style dishes with unique flavor pairings from our local farmer friends. Tacos and tamales are some of our top sellers and we also have a successful frozen takeout line. Our home of Paonia is a bucolic paradise with a strong community of artists, musicians, and farmers. Summers are filled with world-class live music and vineyard visits and winters are a restful time to visit galleries and enjoy premiere cross-country skiing.
We are looking for full-time help (30-40 hrs.) including some evenings and weekends with possibility of time off in winter. We are offering an hourly rate plus tips that typically range from $5-10 an hour as well as a small relocation stipend for the right person. We are also willing to assist with locating housing in the Valley. PTO after one year.
Line/Prep Cook Job Responsibilities:

Line/Prep Cook Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
Knowledge of cooking basics
Knowledge of using a variety of cooking implements
Understanding of health and sanitation regulations
Excellent knife-handling skills
