Job Description: Plumbing Showroom Sales Consultant

Reports to: Showroom Sales Manager
Position Summary: Responsible for working closely with and analyzing
customer requests, providing product advise, and creating sales orders
with the highest level of comprehensive customer service
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 0800-1700, Rotational Saturday
Responsibilities & Duties:
Primary:
Professionally conduct organized customer consultations providing
product knowledge, advice, and unique plumbing solutions based on
customers' expectations
Interact with homeowners, plumbers, builders, designers, and
other trade professionals while being sensitive to each of their individual
nee
Create quotes, process sales orders, and coordinate product delivery
based on the project's schedule
Administer the highest level of comprehensive customer service by
answering customer questions and promptly troubleshooting issues while
presenting a professional image, to include conduct and dress, in
alignment with Rampart's values
Collaborate with Purchasing for unique product, ordering, or job
requirements
Answer customer phone calls, qualify leads, and follow up on opportunities
Operate ethically in accordance with Rampart's established systems,
policies and procedures
Support team members in daily business activities
As Required:
Ensure warranty requirements and responsibilities are understood by the
customer
Courteously handle customer returns
Maintain currency on product and technical knowledge as well as current
construction trends
Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements:
Product knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skill
Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned projects
Customer service skills
Sales experience a plus
