Establishes sourcing goals and acceptable service levels. Responsible for negotiating and administering contracts and analyzing price proposals to enhance price, quality, timing and reliability of supply. The candidate will work a hybrid schedule from the Pueblo, CO Collins Aerospace facility. Typical Duties:Develops a strategic plan for a commodity or a strategic supplier.

Providing strategic recommendations to all levels of management.

Responsibility for leading projects to support strategic and continuous improvement initiatives.

Initiating and managing entire projects with significant scope and complexity.

Ability to lead cross functional teams and strategic initiatives.

Responsible for overall relationship with one or multiple strategic accounts across a given commodity. Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature.

Ensures supplier or commodity is performing to the designed UTC requirements from delivery, quality, and cost perspective.

Sets negotiation terms for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.

Executes commodity and strategic sourcing strategy while implements supply chain strategies driving cost reduction.

Establish sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.

Negotiates and administers contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.

Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.

Evaluates vendors' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.

Identifies and conducts research on suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.

Support business travel as needed - estimated to be 20% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR

Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience

In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:Experience and knowledge of Materials Management, Project Management, Planning and Procurement, Supply Management, Administration / Commerce, Legal, Business, Engineering a plus.

Proven experience in complex pricing models, cost savings, contract negotiations, execution of major projects and customer focus/relationship management a plus.

Excellent communication skills – credibility, influencing, presentation, negotiating.
