Please log into Workday and click on Menu or View All Apps, select the Jobs Hub app, then click the magnifying glass to Browse Jobs.Must be located in or near Longmont, ColoradoJob Purpose/OverviewThis position is responsible for Quality Control of one or more products and will require hands-on routine analytical testing and working in a cGMP regulated environment. The QC technician will participate in inspection and experiment planning, execution, and data analysis. This position requires excellent documentation and results communication skills.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform assay performance quality control for manufactured lots of disposable cartridges.

Process release or rejection of materials and product in accordance with LightDeck procedures.

Generate calibration for manufactured lots of disposable cartridges.

Conducts routine and non-routine analysis, including but not limited to biochemical and chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products according to established operating procedures

Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, Quality Systems, ISO 13485:2016).

Calibrates and maintains lab and analytical equipment.

Generates and/or review’s data for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities.

Good understanding of blook-based products, lab operations and protocols.

Understanding of IVD medical devices and CLIA-waived devices.

May assist in approval or rejection of materials at LightDeck in accordance with established procedures.

Good written and oral communications. May revise or author standard operating procedures, test methods, or reports.

Ability to communicate with various teams and collaborate within the company.

Hands-on position with laboratory work including formulation of standards, calibrators, and conjugations.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A minimum of two years IVD / medical device industry experience and/or a minimum of one to two years in laboratory quality control, preferred.

Experience working with laboratory-based biotechnology processes and principles required.

Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to deliver complex technical reports and communicate effectively with management, partners and technical audiences.

Knowledge of statistical analysis.

Deep understanding of how to manage and document sensitive and confidential situations and materials and Intellectual Property.

Deep understanding of documentation, safety and other laboratory operations issues.

Working ConditionsThe associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.Work will be performed in an office, laboratory, and process assembly/manufacturing environment. Able to use standard office equipment (computer, phone), know and understand laboratory safety protocols, and operate in an around process assembly equipment. Able to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.The Target Pay Range for this position is $28.10 - $30.00 Hourly.
