Job Title: Mechanical Designer/Drafter/EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Mechanical Designer, Drafter, or Engineer with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD 2D Drafting, Solidworks, and Plant and Process Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with an engineering background .Responsibilities
Support Solidworks design projects.
Draw and draft plans for mechanical and industrial equipment.
Design mechanical components and systems.
Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards.
Conduct process schematics and calculations.
Work on unique and constantly changing projects.
Understand how equipment and processes work.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in CAD 2D Drafting.
Solidworks experience.
Experience with large equipment.
Strong mechanical design and drafting skills.
Knowledge of Plant and Process Engineering.
Ability to understand and create Bills of Materials (BOM).
Excellent attitude and open-mindedness towards learning new things.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the oil and gas industry.
Familiarity with ductwork design, platform design, and process schematics.
Experience with process calculations.
Previous experience in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) business.
Experience with industrial equipment and mechanical engineering.
Work EnvironmentThis position requires full-time, in-person work with no remote options. The role may involve occasional travel to plant sites for understanding operational processes. The company operates in the Construction Product and Metallurgical Industries, providing engineering, commissioning, and sales services. The work environment includes activities related to brick and ceramics manufacturing, with a focus on mechanical structures, thermal and flow calculations, air ducting, and gas piping.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $52.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
