So, if you get excited about making a real difference as part of a winning team like we do, we want to hear from you.  The Headlines:    In the role of an Instrumentation Controls Electrician working at the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the Malting Team. As the great Bill Coors stated, “Barley is to Beer as Grapes are to Wine”, the Malting team is the soul of our brews. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great malt as possible to ensure that all our US breweries are able to make as much of our great beer as possible.This position reports to the Malting Equipment Specialist Team Leader, and works alongside our leadership, operational and maintenance teams in the Malting Department.The Responsibilities: 

Evaluate problems and generate options to find actionable practical solutions as well as acting as a resource for operational and maintenance teams when electrical/control issues occur.

Perform set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, replacement and programming of electrical equipment with some minor mechanical work as well.

Perform Electrical, Electrical Controls, and Instrumentation Control duties and some mechanical duties such as set-up, adjustment, calibration, tuning, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance inspections and overhauls.

Dismantle, inspect and rebuild electrical assemblies to insure conformance to specifications or production requirements.

Systems supported by this role include Coors custom engineered machines from the 1950’s to modern state of the art kilns.

This role works on the 4X4 rotating team.

The Other Qualifications: 

Industrial Journeyman level or on-the-job experience with heavy industrial Electrical, Electrical Controls, Instrumentation and PLC’s.

You must also be proficient troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC programs and processor-based program/diagnostic panels.

Experience with PLC 5, SLC500 and Contrologix.

Preferred to have ISA CCST Level 1 certificate or higher.

You are serious about and take pride in a proven track record of delivering results.

You have a high school diploma or a GED.

You are at least 21 years of age.

Knowledge of Malting Equipment

Knowledge of the Malting Process including PLC access

SAP knowledge, specifically navigating T-Codes IW21, IW28, IW37N, IW38, and CL30N and all facets of a Work Order

Programming drives, soft starts and modifying PLC program to accommodate upgrades with the support of the MET
