Multi faceted job in landscape maintenance 99% residential, 1% commercial jobs. This is a weekly route all season serving 40 residential clients total. Half are small residential lots (30 min each or less), other half is larger estate type lots (30 min to 1 hr ea.) We team up for the three hour commercial job. Overall, we spend two -three days mowing, remaining days on small - medium residential project work, sprinkler repair, etc. This is One small team that breaks up to work independently on a mow route, not multiple crews. Its a full schedule so no lack of hours but trying to limit OT so you can have a life. Occasional Saturday. Definitely need to be willing to clean and maintain equipment. We can teach that but it helps if you have experience. Feel empowered making decisions, interact with our customer's at high level to provide the service their used to. This is all aspects of residential service from spring clean up and fertilizing, sprinkler turn on, Mowing and end of season clean up work into snow removal. This position requires a mature individual who values providing quality work with minimum supervision for provide the proper service to our mow route customers. Can be responsible with the equipment and vehicles. 2 years min CURRENT experience, infraction free drivers license requirement.
Landscape Maintenance - Residential Route services a variety of residential and commercial maintenance accounts per week. This is accomplished traveling the local area with company provided vehicle, trailer and equipment. Maintenance work consists of servicing properties for the purpose of general property maintenance which includes but is not limited to: customer interaction, mowing and trimming, spring yard clean up, turf aeration, clean up of winter debris in plant beds, pruning perennial shrubs and small trees, fertilizer applications and general yard care using various power equipment. Hauling and dumping debris generated from job sites. Hauling and installation of various landscape materials needed to maintain landscape appearances. This position requires a well rounded person with customer service skills, motivation for physical labor providing a variety of whole property care services. The schedule includes several days per week providing maintenance services and several days providing sprinkler and /or landscape project work.
Maintain equipment, vehicle and daily work records.
Receives direct and general supervision from the business owner.
Qualifications
Must be able to demonstrate professional landscape maintenance experience. Knowledge of trade tools, operation and maintenance. Must be able to operate all hand tools along with motor driven equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, edger and other lawn maintenance equipment.
Knowledge of Functions of and skills in safe use of hand and power tools such as shears, pruners, string trimmers, walk behind and riding lawn mowers, etc. Ability to properly use and care for all tools, materials and equipment. Proper maintain and operate 2 cycle and 4 cycle motorized equipment.
Learn proper grounds maintenance methods, procedures and techniques.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Incumbent may be exposed to traffic and construction hazards, machinery hazards, herbicides/pesticides, electrical currents, adverse weather conditions, temperature and other weather extremes, noise extremes, wetness, humidity, heights, fumes, dust, dirt, odors, solvents, grease, oil, toxic chemicals,
Attendance - Tardiness will not be tolerated. Daily attendance is crucial to customer satisfaction
Drivers License
Possession of an infraction free valid class C Colorado driver’s license. All licenses must be maintained in an active status without suspension or revocation during the term of employment. Copy of Motor Vehicle record required at time of application. Must have a valid CLEAN Colorado driver’s license.
Must be insurable according to our insurance company’s criteria to operate all company vehicles and rented equipment.
