IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Laboratory Technician position at its facility in Greeley, CO.

- A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Microbiology or related field (preferred)

- Basic math skills

- Good attitude and willingness to work with others

- Good communication and organizational skills

- Ability to follow written directions

- Ability to regularly lift up to 20lbs

- Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

Laboratory Technician duties include: media/sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, washing glassware, general laboratory cleaning, and other duties as assigned.

The pay for this position is $18.00 hourly. This is a part-time position eligible for the following benefits: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually) and 401(k). Part-time employees may be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week on average during an initial 5-month measurement period.

Multiple schedules are available for the this position including Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 9:00pm, and Sunday through Thursday, 1:00pm - 7:00pm.
