Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) is a local non-profit housing organization that promotes housing stability and self-sufficiency in Northern Colorado. While changing the world is daunting, helping your neighbor is second nature. It is on this premise that N2N was founded in 1970, when neighbors banded together to keep a family from losing their home. Since then, we've experienced the exponential effect of that one simple, neighborly act. Today, we help more than 5,000 neighbors achieve, preserve and own their own homes each year.
N2N is seeking a Homeownership Advisor to primarily support our Homeownership Program. This position will be required to work independently to counsel one-on-one and group education settings with the goal of assisting people to achieve their homeownership goals. Areas of work will include but are not limited to home purchase, reverse mortgage, foreclosure, debt reduction and credit education.
Successful candidates will possess the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work respectfully with people of differing educational, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds; exceptional attention to detail; experience with client management systems; public speaking skills; and the ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments. Knowledge of mortgage loans and programs, and the homeownership market is preferred.
Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of related experience required. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with benefits available. Neighbor to Neighbor is an equal opportunity employer.
