General Laborer/Ranch and Property Hand Needed!
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual with a strong farm/ranch hand experience. This role involves assisting with various tasks related to ranch and property maintenance in Gill, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of performing manual labor in various weather conditions and have a strong work ethic. This is a full-time position (40-45 hours per week).
Responsibilities:
- Feeding and caring for horses, cattle and farm animals
- Operating light vehicles and heavy farm and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as loading and delivering hay and feed, fence repair, field work, and irrigation
- Assist with livestock care, including feeding, watering, and cleaning animal enclosures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of barns, equipment sheds, and other facilities
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns regarding the property, equipment, or livestock to management
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Ideally will be local and have reliable transportation
- Valid, clean driver’s license and 18+ years old
- Able to work 40 hours per week
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test
- Must be able to perform lifting of hay, feed bags, and equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
- Ability to work in a variety of roles
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Benefits:
