Working Environment:
1. A lounge and social events environment with periods of heavy personal interaction.
2. Requires long periods of standing.
3. Requires bending and stooping, light to moderate lifting and carrying objects 5-15lbs.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
1. Required to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.
2. Must have reliable transportation.
3. Must be available to work varied shifts and be on time for shifts.
4. Ability to work banquets and interact with customers professionally.
5. Required to operate a POS (Point of Sale) System to order food from the kitchen and input drink orders. Must be able to use electronic credit/debit device.
6. Must be tactful and employ good interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and other employees.
7. Must have knowledge of correct proportions and mixtures to use in preparing beverages.
8. Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve the problem or seek assistance.
9. Must be able to follow cash handling policies and procedures.
10. Must have knowledge of liquor licensing laws, rules and regulations and fire codes pertaining to lounge operations.
11. Must have knowledge of and practice health department rules and regulations.
12. Ability to answer phones and take messages.
13. Must be able to practice discretion, confidentiality, good judgment, organization ability, initiative and attention to details are critically essential for this position.
14. Requires ability to determine and prioritize own workload.
15. Required frequent light to moderate lifting.
16. Must have at least 2 years of verified bartending experience.
17. Must provide at least 3 references.
18. Never convicted of a felony.
19. Agree to practice COVID 19 Local and State Guidelines.
Position Information:
1. This position is a year-round, part-time, non-salaried, no benefits position.
2. This position reports directly to the Bar Manager.
3. Salary range is $11.79 per hour plus tips.
4. Pay periods are bi-weekly.
