Description Location: UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp, US:CO:Fort CollinsDepartment: PVH Resource PoolFTE: Part Time, 0.6, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)Shift: Nights Pay: $18.54 - $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienceSummary:Performs continual one-on-one patient monitoring under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.Responsibilities:Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member. Provides calming and reorienting conversation with patient in cases of patient's agitation or confusion. Identifies and removes hazards from the patient and patient's environment, and reports as appropriate. Provides limited patient care activities consisting of vital signs monitoring, intake and output, and ambulation under the supervision of an RN.Assists patient with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but no limited to bathing, grooming and eating.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Requirements:

Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
