Amentum, a large government contract company is seeking a Facilities Laborer-Interior Electric. The hourly pay will be $20.57 with an additional $8.34 - $10.96 towards Health and Welfare Benefits.PURPOSE AND SCOPE:The Facilities Laborer - Interior Electric performs tasks which require mainly physical abilities and effort involving minor specialized skills primarily in the Electric Shop. This Worker assists in general maintenance and minor repair tasks including cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, and picking up around the shop area- walks, driveways, roads, or parking lots. Other duties as assigned.JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required to use iPads for identifying assets and the labeling of assets for the purpose of meeting Performance Work Statement (PWS), and Asset Tagging Requirements.
Performs PWS required lighting checks at multiple locations on Fort Carson.
Performs PWS required mobile generator checks.
Supports the maintenance and repair of exterior lighting systems, traffic lights and intersection signage, pedestrian crossings, school zone flashers, and any exterior electrical issue that falls under the Interior Electric shop.
Will be working around but not on different equipment with voltages up to 480 volts with a qualified technician.
Works as a ground person for other employees working in bucket trucks, and digger derrick trucks. This requires working in and around traffic safely, supporting the safety of the employee working in the bucket truck.
Lifts materials and equipment up to 75 lbs.
Supports Interior Electric employees while operating different types of lifts.
Cleans Interior Electric Facilities and vehicles.
Levels grounds using shovels, tamper, and rakes. Mowing, trimming, edging, and other landscaping duties as assigned.
Requires working outdoors daily.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
May be required to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
Minimum of one year experience in facility laborer field/maintenance.
Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
For positions requiring use of a Company and/or Customer vehicle, must have a safe driving record as defined by Company policy.
Must be 18yrs of age and must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
