Sr. Accountant

Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our accounting team, partnering with various departments including sales and operations. Your responsibilities will be instrumental in our growth strategy by enabling scalability planning within our current endeavors. This role is in office Monday - Friday and reports to the Controller of the growing company. Responsibilities: Oversee General Ledger and reconciliation processes Facilitate month-end and year-end close Assist with internal and external audits Manage the sales tax process and ensure sales taxes are filed properly and timely Track fixed assets and depreciation Ensure all bank reconciliations are done monthly Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger and account balances Handle loan entries and loan reconciliation Manage accrued expenses and prepaids Handle property tax accruals Reconcile clearing accounts and credit card clearing accounts Manage intercompany reconciliation Facilitate Balance Sheet reconciliationRequirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role. Advanced Microsoft Excel is required. Must have hands-on experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and/or SAP.
