Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated ROI Coordinator. This role involves handling all Release of Information (ROI) requests that come through the hospital. Will be responsible for managing a high volume of requests, processing records, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.Key Responsibilities:
Handle all ROI requests electronically, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Work on priors by making outbound calls to request and follow up on prior information.
Process over 100 requests per day, maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
Complete ROI requests, including retrieving, scanning, and transmitting patient medical records according to established procedures.
Date stamp all requests and highlight pertinent data to facilitate processing.
Validate requests and authorizations for the release of medical information.
Manage incoming requests, including opening mail, and telephone inquires
Communicate with providers as necessary, though phone work is not heavy.
Zero face-to-face patient communication
