This role will be responsible for writing and producing cybersecurity communications, developing and executing executive-level communications for the cybersecurity department, and supporting employee awareness and training of cybersecurity education. The Communications Specialist will work with the Cybersecurity Awareness, Training, and Communications Manager to deliver engaging content, according to the brand guidelines, that improves employees’ knowledge and understanding of complex and important subjects. The Communications Specialist will also be expected to identify communication needs and work collaboratively with other divisions to help build strong cybersecurity advocates throughout the organization.The Communications Specialist should have excellent writing and interpersonal skills and be able to explain complicated technical concepts in simple, user-friendly language. Previous experience in technology and/or knowledge of key cybersecurity concepts is a plus.Qualifications
Bachelors Preferred
2-5 years in Communications, public relations and/or Marketing field with experience in supporting successful progressive large scale projects
2-3 years of experience in a large corporate environment
Experience developing internal and external high-level corporate messaging
Strong project and task management skills and experience to deliver high-quality, on-time work products
