Job Duties and Responsibilities A successful analyst supports production validation and functional experience with our retail wireless applications by working with various project teams and IT to resolve incidents and improve the user experience. This position may require night and weekend work, both scheduled and unscheduled. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: Detail Oriented - Optimize and maintain functionality of our applications in production. Data Analysis and Interpretation – Be able to pull, understand, and analyze data to establish trends and opportunities, then provide solutions to management. Relationship Focused - Works well with various departments throughout the company, including product teams and IT. Proactively communicates changes and improvements in non-technical terms to a large audience, escalating as needed. Organizational Mindset - Assists in the facilitation of meetings and conversations involving various business partners and departments throughout the organization. Mentors and onboards new employees - Acts as an additional resource for the team where issues arise. Product Leadership - Ensures the product meets business needs and delivers value to users without introducing problems to current processes. Skills, Experience and Requirements A successful BOA III will have the following qualifications: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Aptitude for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Applicant must be comfortable working without direct supervision and be internally motivated to seek out application opportunities and drive forward needed solutions. Strong competency using Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Familiarity using project management software, SQL a plus. Experience in Root-Cause analysis and Risk-Assessment.
