job summary:

Randstad Technologies is searching for a Android Mobile Developer to join one of our largest heathcare clients in a contract role. This is a 100% remote position but the chosen candidate must reside within one of the following states: California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia or Hawaii.

This client is unable to provide sponsorship to work in the United States in the event that this role converts to a permanent position. As such, we are unable to work with C2C vendors for this role.

responsibilities:

Top Daily Responsibilities:

Design, Develop, and Support native mobile applications
Work may include new features to existing apps as well as new apps Ability to create rapid prototype to showcase not only potential new features to existing apps, but new apps as well Preferred
Implement and unit test user stories
Participate in agile ceremonies
Peer review code

REQUIRED Skills:

JAVA, Kotlin, Bluetooth, SQLite, Graphs
Have been building customer facing commercial aOS apps for at least 5 years
Must have demonstrated experience in Android Development. (4 years)
Experience with Kotlin
strong understanding of Android app architecture concepts including dynamic app features.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
Proficient with Android Studio, Java, Android, Kotlin, SDK API levels.
Proficient with profilers, debuggers, and GIT.
Experience in consumption of Restservices to best improve the app performance.
Able to identify API gaps to improve performance
Bachelors Degree Required

PREFERRED Skills:

Experience with Android testing (unit tests, integration tests, UI tests)
Experience with AARs (both consuming and creating them)
Understanding of concurrent programming and which thread a given piece of logic should run on

For Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.00/hour.
