Site Technology Coordinator

Salary: $55,000-$60,000

Supervisor's Title: Executive Director of Information Technology

Work Contact Days: 210Responsible for providing high quality, effective instruction, ensuring student progression towards mastery of course content and related skills. Colorado Early Colleges is dedicated to creating innovative education materials, curriculum and environments that spark a love of learning, develop grit, and instill a growth mindset. In addition to mentoring small groups as well as individuals, you will document progress, fulfill all required training and paperwork, and communicate with other staff members as needed.

JOB DUTIES: (Note: The list is not considered inclusive of all duties; it focuses on the primary and most frequently recurring duties.)

To ensure that technology at the assigned CEC school(s) is expertly supported, to advocate for student learning and achievement.
  • Troubleshoot technology issues and present creative solutions in a timely manner
  • Work with school staff to improve the technology at the school based on academic needs
  • Give recommendations and training to staff and Tier 1 techs on how to use technology efficiently
  • Collaborate with IT team members about technical issues and resolutions
  • Lead in IT related projects to enhance infrastructure and performance across the CEC network
  • Experience with IP addressing, subnetting, traffic shaping, and firewall rules required
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Infinite Campus, G-Suite and Meraki wireless networks required
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and assess windows-based computers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Setup, configure, and support computerized testing such as NWEA and CMAS
  • Update and audit inventory of desktops, laptops and peripherals for technology use on campus
  • Maintain confidentiality with student data
  • Support faculty at all CEC schools in the use of Teams in the classroom and remotely
  • Troubleshoot and support all printer and copier issues on campus
  • Advocate for security best practices that align with IT department requirements
  • Update, document, and close tickets in a timely fashion
  • Professional attitude and dress a must
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of application integrations between critical systems
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on assigned CEC applications and services
  • Point of escalation for all issues pertaining
  • Liaison between CEC and vendor for support and renewal matters
  • Point of escalation for all Site Tech I technicians, providing expert level support and training as appropriate
  • Troubleshoot advanced software issues in conjunction with other IT staff
  • Monitor and patch servers according to regular schedule, in partnership with the Systems Administration team
  • Partners with IT leadership in identifying and executing strategies to enhance the technology support and opportunities at CEC
  • Has oversight of the daily support for all Douglas County and Denver schools

Education/Training/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2 to 4 years experience in school/education sector preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be proactive in meeting needs of staff
  • Organized and efficient
  • Demonstrated interest in technology required
  • Microsoft certifications a plus
