With a rich history of educational excellence, ACC embraces a culture that values diversity, individualized support, and unwavering commitment to student success, without exception.Description of JobThe Strategic Schedule Coordinator is integral to supporting Arapahoe Community College’s efforts in creating student-centered schedules that align with institutional goals, such as pathways to completion and accreditation compliance. Working closely with deans, department chairs, and faculty, the Coordinator helps develop and implement scheduling plans that prioritize student success while meeting operational needs. In this role, the Coordinator supports scheduling operations through data analysis, schedule audits, and the use of technologies like Ad Astra, to ensure the production of schedules that reflect institutional priorities. They assist instructional personnel by providing training on scheduling processes, policies, and software, fostering consistency and efficiency across departments. By offering hands-on support, the Coordinator ensures faculty and staff have the tools and resources needed to build effective schedules that enhance student outcomes. The Coordinator also plays a supportive role in classroom usage and resource allocation, working with IT, Facilities, and other teams to ensure spaces meet instructional needs. Through collaboration and practical assistance, the Strategic Schedule Coordinator helps the College achieve its scheduling goals while maintaining a strong focus on student success and institutional effectiveness. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. An equivalency will not count towards the two-year experience requirement below.
Two years administrative or closely related experience.
Experience with databases, information systems, and data analysis.
Experience managing multiple projects and strategic initiatives with stakeholders across functional areas.
Highly proficient in Microsoft software programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access).
Demonstrated commitment working with and supporting students from diverse populations, which may include but are not limited to, historically marginalized communities such as people of color, LGBTQ+ community members, veterans, first generation graduates, and people with disabilities.
Strong leadership and collaborative, team-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Banner and Ad Astra software.
Higher education experience.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and impartiality.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
