Heavy material handling and delivery/warehouse, NO CDL is needed, but must have a DOT Physical and delivering material to construction sites is required. We are a smaller owned and operated business located in the Broomfield area. The pay range is DOE and between $20-$28 per hour.
This is Monday - Friday daytime hours only.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
-Receive or pick-up material for warehouse storage
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor during interactions with customers and company staff
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
-When not driving, will be working in the warehouse.
Requirements:
Have clean driving record within the last 2 years.
Must be able to pass a federal background check some jobsites will run drivers
Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers
Strong organizational skills to plan routes efficiently
Ability to work independently
Note:
This position may require occasional lifting of heavy items minimum of 75 pounds and working in various weather conditions.
This is not a full-time driving position.
