Citizen’s Carpet Service is an active interstate freight carrier based out of Denver, Colorado. For more than 45 years, we have transported floor covering products from Georgia and southern California to commercial outlets in the Rocky Mountain Region, including Colorado and Utah. We are a small, family-owned business that prides itself on accuracy, timeliness and excellent customer service.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized RECEIVING AND DELIVERY CLERK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the flow of product in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate delivery and outstanding customer satisfaction. Come join our team!
Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
Verifies receiving manifests to ensure accuracy of incoming products.
Collates product bills for interoffice needs and local delivery.
Files bills accurately for future reference.
Maintains customer bills alphabetically and numerically.
Contacts customers by phone and email to confirm product arrival.
Uses a custom computer program to facilitate responsibilities.
Delivery Responsibilities:
Uses receiving manifests to complete delivery manifests accurately.
Files invoices for will-call customers.
Scans bills, verifying they are clear and legible, to customers as required.
Greets customers at the will-call window in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintains accurate records of all transactions.
Organizes and maintains physical and digital records to ensure future accessibility.
Works with Warehouse Manager to coordinate product deliveries.
General Office Responsibilities:
Enters product orders.
Posts payments to Accounts Receivables.
Other duties as required.

English required, Spanish language skills a plus
Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent
Knowledge of basic office and administrative software such as Outlook Email
Experience working in an office setting
Previous clerical experience
Work Hours:
We are open Monday – Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. This position will start out at 24 hours per week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There is potential to move to 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. Benefits and PTO with FT employment.
