This position is responsible for all phases of auto body refinishing in preparation for paint, writing supplements, welding, R&I and some frame machine (but not required). The auto body technician must foster a positive team spirit within the paint department and with other departments. This person must maintain the cleanliness of shop and tools and be meticulous in his or her work and always strive to improve productivity and quality of work.
Education/Special Skills/Experience/Training Preferred (but not necessary):
Experience or equivalent training in automotive collision repair
Specialized Training
I-CAR
ASE Certification
Work independently without close supervision
Flexible/adaptable to constant change
Be a team player
Ability to take direction when given
